Holiday Decorations

 In order to bring some holiday cheer to Stubby and Neo, we got them a little tree and snowman decoration for their tank!

Stubby watched as we put the decoration into the tank (before she went to check it out!)

Get to Know Stubby

Meet Stubby!

Stubby is an African Dwarf Frog. But she is a very VERY special frog. When we brought her home from the pet store, we noticed that she was missing one of her arms.  She has a partial "stub" on her right side where there should be a webbed "hand".  

We don't know if she got an injury when she was younger or whether she was just born that way!

Also, she has a black dot on her lower back, near where her tail would be. It makes her look very different from all of the other frogs that we have had.

Stubby lives in an aquarium with her fish friend, Neo, who is a neon tetra.  We hope that Stubby and Neo have many adventures together!
